El Diente, or "the tooth" as it's known for its pointy summit, is located in the majestic San Juan Mountain Range of southwestern Colorado. Near Lizard Head Pass, Mt. Wilson and Wilson Peak, this prominent 14er has an elevation of 14,165ft, and as a class 4/5 climb, is rated as one of the most challenging climbs of the 14ers in the Rocky Mountain Region.
