Another rocky precipice of the narrow and tall Sangre de Cristo Mountain Range, Ellingwood Point is one of the three fourteeners in the Blanca Group. Near Alamosa, the route up this peak can be summitted in summer and winter by advanced climbers, skiers, and boarders.
