Part of our 14er Collection Series, Pikes Peak, at 14, 110 ft. is the highest Front Range peak of the Rocky Mountains. This peak is a National Historic Landmark. Formed by a massive intrusion of granite that through erosion eventually revealed the huge dome-like mountain we see today, from the summit, you can understand why Katherine Bates penned the words to “America the Beautiful”.
