Welcoming visitors to San Francisco, California since 1933, Coit Tower offers panoramic vistas of the skyline and Golden Gate and Bay Bridges from Pioneer Park in the famous Telegraph Hill neighborhood. Part of our San Francisco Collection Series, Coit Tower’s interior walls are adorned with decorative murals that capture California life during the Depression Era. The murals were painted by a group of artists hired by the Public Works Art Project in the 1930’s. For more 20th Century mural work, also visit the San Francisco Maritime Museum in the Aquatic Park Historic Landmark District.
